Server Rules

Short version: be decent, don't cheat, and keep the shooting inside the PVP zones. Long version below.

The short version

  • Don’t be a jackass. Trash talk is fine. Racism, slurs, threats, harassment and doxxing are not, whether in game, on voice or on Discord.
  • No cheats, no exploits. Hacks, macros, duping, glitching through walls or into bases, and any third-party advantage get you a permanent ban on the first offence.
  • PVE everywhere, PVP in the zones. Outside a marked PVP zone, leave other players and their stuff alone. Inside one, it’s open season. Check the map.
  • Admins make the call. If you think we got it wrong, take it to a ban appeal, not global chat.

PVE areas (everywhere outside a PVP zone)

  • No shooting, punching, tying up, robbing, force-feeding or otherwise messing with other players.
  • No griefing: don’t block roads, camp loot spawns, or drag infected and animals onto people on purpose.
  • Don’t loot another player’s body unless they tell you it’s OK.
  • No raiding. Bases in PVE areas are off limits: no breaking in, no lockpicking, no destroying walls.
  • Don’t take a vehicle that’s obviously someone else’s, like one parked at a base or loaded with gear.

PVP zones

  • Inside a marked PVP zone you can kill, rob and hold people up. Loot whatever drops.
  • Both players have to be inside the zone. No shooting into a zone from outside, and no shooting out of one at someone in a PVE area.
  • No combat logging. If you’re in a fight, or someone’s hunting you inside a zone, stay connected. Logging out or switching servers to dodge a fight is an instant ban.
  • Logging out inside a PVP zone is at your own risk. Whatever happens to your body is fair game.
  • No building inside a PVP zone.

Bases and building

  • Don’t build inside or within 300 m of a PVP zone, in the middle of towns, or on roads and bridges.
  • Don’t block loot spawns, points of interest or the only way into an area.
  • One base per group. Keep it reasonable; admins can ask you to trim a base that’s tanking server performance.

Names, voice and chat

  • Pick a real name. No default “Survivor”, and nothing offensive or impersonating staff.
  • Keep music and soundboards off direct chat unless everyone nearby is in on the joke.
  • English in global chat so the admins can follow along.

Bugs, losses and refunds

  • If you lose gear to a server crash or a confirmed bug, open a ticket with video. Refunds are at staff discretion.
  • Found an exploit? Report it privately to staff. Reporters get thanked; anyone who abuses an exploit gets banned.

Punishments

Most things go warning → temporary ban → permanent ban. Cheating, exploiting, combat logging and hate speech skip straight to the end. Every ban can be appealed once through the appeal form.
