What do I need to play on Drunk Rednecks?
DayZ on PC (Steam) with the Badlands expansion, which adds the Nasdara map. The mods download automatically when you join through the DayZ launcher or DZSA Launcher.
What's the server address?
Direct connect to play.drunkrednecks.com on port 2302. If your launcher only takes an IP, use 31.56.65.85:2302 (query port 27016).
Is Drunk Rednecks PVE or PVP?
Both. The whole map is PVE except for marked PVP zones around the high-value military spots. Inside a PVP zone anything goes; outside one, don't touch other players or their stuff.
Is it first-person only?
Yes. Third-person is disabled for everyone, so nobody peeks over walls.
Do I get starting gear?
Yes. Every fresh spawn gets the same free start pack when you pick a spawn point. Nobody can buy a better one.
Is anything pay-to-win?
No. Supporter perks are Discord roles, shout-outs and community stuff. Donating never gets you gear, loot, vehicles, bases or a faster queue, which is also how Bohemia Interactive's server monetization rules want it.
How often does the server restart?
Every 4 hours: midnight, 4 AM, 8 AM, noon, 4 PM and 8 PM Eastern. The countdown on the homepage shows the next one. Time runs at 4x speed, so you get plenty of daylight and plenty of night.
